Good gifts

Poppy joined the Arbor Day Foundation and has given each of the kids their own tree to plant. He gave Justus a Red Maple for his birthday and they were able to plant it this afternoon. I will enjoying watching the little tree grow up along with Justus. He is already preparing to water it every 3 days. What a good gift. While Poppy was here, he was able to help plant the raspberry bushes that Amber gave us. We put them over with the fruit trees.

Quick, birthday visit

Poppy and Nana stopped by for a few days this past weekend to celebrate Dante's 11th birthday. Although is went quickly, it was a nice time. We had fun swimming at the Y, playing in the carport and taking a few walks. With so many people, it is much more relaxing to just chill out around the house. I didn't get a ton of pictures, but here are a couple of pictures of everyone shouting, "We love Poppy and Nana" around the breakfast table.
